Water Clarifiers
How Water Clarifiers Work
The clarification process generally involves:
Coagulation – A coagulant is added to neutralize the electrical charges on suspended particles.
Flocculation – The particles combine to form larger flocs.
Sedimentation – The flocs settle to the bottom of a tank.
Filtration – The clarified water passes through filters to remove remaining particles.
